Telehealth availability leapt forward with COVID-19. How providers are adapting.

Father and son talk to their doctor via Telemedicine from home

Legislation signed by CA Gov. Gavin Newsom extends telehealth payment and other policy flexibilities established during the COVID-19 pandemic through December 2022. That’s good news for CA health centers and supports our work at SFCHC to enhance and expand access to high-quality health care, with an emphasis on the most vulnerable and chronically underserved. This LA Times article provides an in-depth look at how SFCHC and other health care providers are finding new ways to provide equitable opportunities for remote care – and how patients are responding.

Update:  SFCHC is accepting telemedicine visits. Call us Mon - Fri 8 AM - 5 PM (818) 963-5690 to book your appointment day and time.
