Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission launches new 100-bed Bridge Housing Shelter in Van Nuys

Like their companion NoHo Shelter, the Van Nuys facility will provide a full array of homeless services. These will include meals, bedroom cubicles, showers, dog kennels/dog run, mental and physical health services, job training, substance abuse counseling, and much more.  It will be the perfect one-stop location for a houseless person working to rebuild their life!

The rapidly assembled facility is known as a Sprung Structure, an exceptionally durable tent-like format that can withstand winds of 100 miles per hour.  It is located at 7700  Van Nuys Blvd near the Amtrak Station.

Hope of the Valley's goal is to meet the needs of the "whole" person -- spiritually, emotionally, and physically. This aligns with San Fernando Community Health Center's mission as an integrated healthcare facility for the underserved in the city and the Valley at large.
