Jonhatan Baltazar, from SFCHC, presents a donation check for the Special Olympics Torch Run 2025 to Chief Fabian Valdez and members of the SFPD. San Fernando Community Health Center has been an active supporter of the Special Olympics for many years.

The San Fernando Police Department will join hundreds of officers from local, county, state, federal, and military agencies for the 2025 Torch Run for Special Olympics Southern California. Teams participating in the run and walk will carry the Flame of Hope to the Summer Games in June, promoting inclusion, raising awareness, and supporting the athletes of Special Olympics Southern California.

Every dollar raised through the Torch Run will help fund Special Olympics Southern California programs in the community. Special Olympics Southern California enriches the lives of athletes with intellectual disabilities and their communities through sports, education, and athlete health.
