Meet Our Board of Directors: Cesar De La Cruz

Cesar De La Cruz, a licensed real estate broker, has a long history of contributing his time and talent to non-profit organizations serving the community. Prior to being appointed Treasurer to the SFCHC Board of Directors in July 2013, he served as Vice Chair on the Mission Community Hospital Board of Directors until it changed ownership that same year.

Cesar joined Agora Realty & Management in 2000, where he oversees property management and leasing of the company’s portfolio properties. In this capacity, he also provides expertise in property acquisitions and disposal. Prior to his current position, Cesar worked for Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services, where he was responsible for the leasing and sales of bank-owned properties. He began full-time residential real estate sales in 1985, and previously owned a construction company and termite control business with his brothers.

For over three decades, Cesar has used his skills and passion to make a positive impact on the community. He is actively involved with the Mission Hills Los Angeles Police Department station, and is a member of the Community Police Advisory Board and Mission Community Police Council. He previously served on the formation committees for the Panorama City Neighborhood Council and Panorama City Business Improvement District, where he was a member of the Governing Board.

A resident of Granada Hills for 34 years, Cesar has been married to his wife Patricia for 44 years. They love spending time with their daughter and two young grandsons, and consider their family the greatest joy in their lives.

SFCHC CEO Audrey Simons shares that Cesar is a great resource in his position as Treasurer of the Board of Directors.  “Cesar provides valuable insight when we need an expert, community-focused opinion related to business items that come before the Board. He has selflessly given of his time and knowledge as SFCHC has grown and matured as a Federally Qualified Health Center.”
