I have been attending The Heart Medical Group for many years now. This week I need pre-op clearance, one of which is cardiology.
Instead of looking at my history I was booked into a completely new cardiology practice for the pre-op clearance. Rather senseless I feel.
So I phoned the clinic and spoke to the person involved who said they would get it changed and call me back. Needless to say no call back a text instead, that's not a problem but the person didn't ring to cancel the other appointment which was for 05/05/26, they rang me today to confirm the appointment which I am not attending. Now some places charge up to $50 for cancellations within 24 hours, luckily this isn't one of them.*

I came in for the first time and Paula Rosales assisted me, she was very helpful and experienced, I didn’t have any problems, she was very nice and professional. I highly recommend this health center to everyone*

I have been coming to this clinic since 2018, and I love it. The wait time isn’t that long and all of the medical receptionists are very kind. I recently had an appointment with Dr. Elizabeth Garcia and let me tell you she is the best. She really paid attention to me, and she really cares about your health needs. She took the time to listen to me and about my concerns. She is awesome. I will be seeing her from now on.*

Dr. Aura Veliz is amazing! I came here for prenatal care after I had miscarried two babies. I was nervous and scared but Aura was so reassuring and very supportive.
My first pregnancy was high risk, although baby was born premature at 24 weeks & 3 days she was very helpful and caring. She gave me hope. Baby is now 4 years old.
Second pregnancy was high risk again, I was going to Kaiser through my job insurance but switched back to SFCHC for Dr.Veliz to follow my prenatal care. She assured I would deliver a full term baby, and she did just that. My son was born at 37 weeks , healthy. She is so amazing!*

San Fernando Community Health Center provided comfort and guidance as I navigated my first pregnancy. Aura was always helpful and reassuring. Her professionalism was well balanced with her empathy as a woman. She always made me feel seen and was always willing to include my family in doctor visits. Now that I have my son, I love the convenience of staying with the same clinic for pediatrics. Dr. Susan Reid is very supportive and also creates a welcoming and accepting environment in every consultation. I genuinely feel like my family is being cared for. I love that my son will be able to find the care he needs throughout his childhood and that he is being cared for by professionals who have known him and cared for him since before he was born. *

Amazing! I came here for prenatal care few years after I had miscarried two babies. I was nervous and scared but Aura was so reassuring and supportive!
